Alaina Snipper-  I grew up in Los Angeles in the 1950's and early 1960's.  I was a visual child and in my mind I was always somewhere else.  Painting and drawing were my solace and I was particularly attuned to other dimensions as well as nature.   I moved to Berkeley when I was about 16.  It was the height of the hippie era and I loved all the colors and the music.  I especially liked the psychedelic poster art.  You might see a little bit of that reflected in my artwork.  I have lived on the East Coast in Western Massachusetts since 1970 and raised my family here.
